My name's Jessica.

You probably arrived at this page because you met me, or heard about me from someone. And you have become curious. Maybe we can inspire each other?

I will try to show a bit of myself through images and text.

And I can tell you something about my life: (written September 2023)

I was born in the Netherlands and also lived in Norway and Suriname with my parents and brothers. I have twins who are 24 years old. They have a Greek father because I lived on the Greek island of Hydra for a long time. Since 2012 I have been living with Hans in Groningen and Zuidlaren. Our 'town' house is located in Groningen and 't Boshuisje in Zuidlaren. I once studied environmental biology and ecology, then I taught English for a long time and now I call myself an awareness coach. That's not a profession, that's just a modern name for what used to be called 'a wise woman'.

My journey:

In 2015 I suffered a deep burnout. That was the wakeup call to fully face the life I had led up til that point. To recover I had to change a lot in how I connected with my body, emotions, thoughts, desires and beliefs. I did all kinds of therapies and (professional) training and learned a lot. At the same time, together with my family and friends, I discovered that what I could not change:  who I essentially am.

Who I am essentially:

I have met myself as a unique part of the universal of which we are all inseparable. I have met my Self as a human person, as a unique soul and as a spiritual being.
